Our wonderful team

Stephen has been practising optometry for over 25 years and has been working at the practice since 2000. Stephen has relished furthering his education, completing masters subjects in Behavioural Optometry and is a member of OA, ACBO and ACSO.

In his spare time, Steve composes digital music and enjoys reading. No wonder he’s done so much study.

Stuart has over 25 years of optical dispensing experience. He has been with BBE since 2014 and has been greatly received by the patients ever since.

In his spare time, Stu spends time with his wife and four kids, practises yoga, is an avid surfer, and posts jokes to Facebook. Not really. OK, really.

Optics is career number three for Belle! She studied education and music in her hometown of Toowoomba in Queensland. After a decade of teaching, she then moved into event coordination before joining Stephen as the co-owner of Byron Bay Eyecare in 2007.

Belle relishes being with her wonderful team at the practice and working with clients.

Spare time usually entails a big walk or family bike ride. Belle also loves cooking, gardening and eating. Especially eating.
